At the start of next month we will be travelling across the Atlantic to New York, in order to exhibit at the 64th New York International Antiquarian Book Fair from 4 to 7 April. One of the world’s leading antiquarian book fairs, the fair brings together exhibitors from across the world to convene at New York City’s historic Park Avenue Armory, presenting a trove of materials including rare books, maps, illuminated manuscripts, fine bindings, illustrations, historical documents, photographs, prints, memorabilia, and ephemera. The fair’s specialties encompass art, design, popular culture, science, medicine, literature, history, gastronomy, fashion, music, philosophy, and much more.
We will be taking with us a plethora of rare books, manuscripts, and more from across our departments, including annotated and unrecorded incunables, Aldines and illuminations, early printing in Armenian, Ethiopic, Persian, Arabic, and Hebrew, manuscripts from the thirteenth to the nineteenth centuries, Americana and arcana, proof sheets and printed waste, fine and unusual bindings, engravings, broadsides, maps, and much more besides.
For those of you who will be attending the fair, we do hope to see you at booth D9. For those who sadly cannot make it, you can sign up here to be the first to receive our fair list.
